Wubizixing (五笔字型 pinyin wǔ bǐ zì xíng), is an input method for writing Simplified Chinese text on a computer.

short for Wubizixing is wubi.


This method is based on graphical structure of Chinese characters, following the five main strokes, horizontal, vertical, falling left, falling right, and hook.

Horizontal stroke is obtained by typing a GFSDA group keystroke.

Vertical stroke is obtained by typing a HJKLM group keystroke.

Falling left stroke is obtained by typing a TREWQ group keystroke.

Falling right stroke is obtained by typing a YUIOP group keystroke.

Hook stroke is obtained by typing a NBVCX group keystroke.

Z keystroke is useful to select between characters very similar.

SPACE keystroke is mandatory to close each wubi sequence.

Wubi method produce very short keystroke sequences.

Following, you will found one table for sequences with one or two keystrokes, and twenty five tables for sequences with more than two keystrokes.

These tables are sorted by their two first keystrokes groups.

They are extracted from yudit, a free Unicode editor.
